can give you that added "special help and attention" that they cannot provide
like we know we can. We will spend the day helping just 1 customer, if
that what it takes. We want you to get the product or even the full aquarium
system that best fits your needs and budget. We are very honest and
knowledgeable in our assessment or the best system for you. We won't sell you
"anything you don't need". We are very truthful! We want to be able to serve
you for many years to come, we are not out to make a fast dollar in other
words like the big stores..... We want our customers to be successful. That is
what's important to us and to further enlarge the hobby by word of mouth.

known that no one can make that claim Online (no one). We shop our competition
and change prices regularly just as they do.

ground shipping via UPS on orders "totals" of $150 or more for orders
containing non-sale items (note orders which do not qualify for our FREE
shipping promotion are now also shipped at a more discounted rate
then before:)
NOTE CUSTOMERS THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND AND TO HELP EXPLAIN "YOU WILL GET FREE SHIPPING" WHEN THIS ONE CERTAIN PURCHASING SITUATION ARISES... Which is every single product on our website is marked right under the "description" of that product whether it "does" or "does not" qualify for free shipping over $150. And this next part is "very important" to understand - that if you buy a product that is marked "does not qualify for free shipping over $150" but the grand total on that non-qualifying item your buying is over $150 dollars it will "still qualify you for free shipping on other items" on our website that are marked "item qualifies for free shipping with total amount over $150".
So to explain more further into detail here... So lets say you buy a aquarium (or any product for that matter) that is marked on our website "does not qualify for free shipping over $150" but the cost of the aquarium (or any product) was over a $150 dollars. Then any other "item" or "items" on our website marked "item qualifies for free shipping with total amount over $150" will qualify you on any of these items for free shipping!!! Maybe you would like to buy some smaller products to go along with this aquarium like a heater and some additives, thermometers and other stuff like that and it will all be "shipped for free"
We apologize that PayPal's Check-out is not sophisticated enough to compute or recognize this "one certain kind" of transaction explained above when this situation arises but it's pretty rare and all other "Free Shipping" situations that can happen the check-out will recognize and take care of any any other "free shipping" orders without any explanation needed before checking-out.
So now what you will need to do when this situation arises we just explained above is to just go threw our PayPal check-out as you normally would and pick all the products you want buy and pay all the shipping costs and we will refund you the shipping for the items that were marked "qualify for free shipping over $150". Note again you will have to pay shipping for any item marked "does not qualify for free shipping over $150".
Terms and Exclusions:
- Offer valid only on orders shipping within the contiguous United States.
Orders sent to Alaska, or Hawaii, or out of Country (including
Canada) will not qualify for this promotion.
- Ocean Reeflections FREE shipping promotion includes hundreds of dry
goods but does not include products that ship in oversized or particularly
heavy boxes. This may include but is "not always limited" to some not
all aquariums, some not all chillers, some not all external
water pumps, some not all lighting but especially over 48",
some not all skimmers, and all substrate/sand (in other words mainly
very heavy items or overly large boxes).
- Sale orders do NOT qualify for our free shipping promotion.
- Note some exclusions are necessary in order for us to be able to
offer this type of promotion to our customers. Please note some large and
heavy products just don't have enough margin or profit to offer free
shipping without us loosing money sorry!
- We do our best to discount all our shipping as much as possible to make
buying items from our online store easy and affordable for you the customer.
- Prices matching "may" or "may not" not qualify for free
shipping.
Unexpected Changes in Availability or ITEMS
OUT OF STOCK
Approximately, 90% of all items ordered are
in stock. If an item is out-of-stock and needs to be back ordered, we will
notify you of the situation on the first business day after you have ordered
to see if you would like to cancel some or all of the order. We greatly apologize is an item you ordered
is out of stock and always feel real bad about the situation, please note we
have "several thousand products" and we cannot watch every product single
product 24/7 and make sure it's marked "out of stock" on our website
that would be impossible.. So we do really appreciate your understanding, we
will always do our best to rectify the situation!
PRODUCT PRICING PROBLEMS AND/OR DESCRIPTIONS
CHANGES
From time to time, manufacturers change pricing and
product designs. All pictures, pricing, and descriptions on our site are
subject to change without notice and we maintain no responsibility for
inadvertent errors of any kind. Also if there is a price on a product that
looks to good to be true, it probably is!!! If you think there is a
pricing "error" please contact us first so we can take care of it for you. If
the product is purchased on our check-out you will be contacted to pay the
correct difference before we will ship the product anyway.

Shipping Costs and Policies
Note to help
avoid returns please ask questions on anything that you may be unsure about
please. Orders placed before 9am
(most times but not always) will be shipped the same day and orders placed
after noon will "usually 70% of time" be shipped the following day there are a
few exceptions especially on some brand aquariums, feel free to ask questions
before ordering. Weekend orders are "usually 90% of time" shipped on Monday.
There is no shipping on Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day, New
Year's Eve, Thanksgiving Day or the 4th of July or most major holidays.
Orders cannot be
canceled after being shipped or refused because of a delays by weather and
such that occurred that were out of our
hands...
Unless you have called us to arrange for expedited
shipping, all orders are shipped UPS Ground. UPS Ground service to the 48
contiguous states. Additional heavy item charges may be levied on Aquariums
and stands, sand and gravel, chillers, and lighting over 48". All these we
should notify you about to contact us before you check out, if you did not see
the notice in our subheading (where description is located) to contact us
about shipping expenses we cannot be responsible for customer not reading
notices.
For overnight, next day and
3-day air deliveries, please contact us first before
ordering.
Please NOTE: In the event that
merchandise is damaged or defective, if you have paid for expedited shipping
OceanReeFlections.com will NOT pay for expedited shipping to ship
a replacement, but will pay to ship UPS Ground.
Most continental U.S. orders are shipped
UPS Ground and most packages will arrive in 1-5 business
days. (Business days are Monday through Friday and do not include holidays).
We use several companies also to
ship products for us, there may be a "good chance" that we can get an item
from a supplier very close to your location and save you some shipping time,
NOTE we use suppliers east coast, mid west and west coasts and we usually will
use the one closest to save our customers shipping time this is one big
advantage we have over other companies, so please take advantage also and save
yourself some shipping time!!! If your in a hurry and need something in 2-3
days and don't want to have to pay expedited shipping please ask us by email
and will tell you if we can get that product from a supplier close to your
location to save you some shipping time!
To find out the delivery time to your specific
address please send us a quick email with your zip code and we will let you
know what area of US your product will ship from and how many days will be
expected for it to arrive our pleasure to help!
ALASKA AND HAWAII there are a few
products (not many) we wont have shipped to your locations, Note if your
from Alaska or Hawaii you must please always email
us before ordering to find out if your item your wanting is ok for shipping
and to get shipping quotes also please.
OUT OF COUNTRY (UNITED STATES)
ORDERS All customers out of country
must please email us first before ordering to see if we can ship the specified
item you would like and to get international shipping rates first before
ordering.
UPS cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. No COD's please.
Note that some packaging is recycled and may have the
name of a product you did not order. We do this because we believe in
recycling and we also believe in saving money--a savings we pass on to our
customers. We do not charge for packaging and handling.
Occasionally, items may come in packaging
that has been pre-opened. This does not indicate "at all"
that the item has been pre-used, but only that the item was inspected at the
warehouse for a variety of reasons that may include checking for damage and
checking for the size of various inlets/outlets, etc.
Receipts are automatically Emailed by PayPal to
customers who have provided their Email address when ordering.
A printed receipt is usually provided with every
order shipped.
All shortages and shipments where the wrong product
was shipped must be reported within one week of receipt of the order. Check
your order carefully to be sure you received the products you ordered.
If your order is from Arizona you will be charged a
8.1% sales tax, PayPal check out sometimes somehow forgets to charge state
sales tax, note customers in AZ you still will be charged before item
ships.
Warranties and Returns All
warranties are the manufacturers' warranties that are packaged with the
product. We take no responsibility for manufactures warranty's or lack of
warranty.
Customers Note- by
purchasing from Ocean ReeFlections you automatically have agreed now that
we are not responsible for manufacturers
warranty's. All warranties of all products we sale online are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer and we are not to be held accountable for
replacements parts or equipment under warranty or for the company's that go
out of business.
On all products returns will be accepted up
to 30 days after the customer receives delivery on an order. Returned products
must be unused (no torn product
boxes please) and contain all original
packaging and accessories (please understand we still need to be able to sale this
product). Please note that all returns can be
in some cases (depending on the situation) subject to a 20% restocking fee and
if we (ocean reeflections) get charged by a supplier of ours we used for a
product you ordered then that customer will as get charged as well, no
exceptions..... PLEASE DO NOT
SHIP PRODUCT BACK IN IT'S ACTUAL PRODUCT BOX PLEASE SHIP PRODUCT BOX IN A
SHIPPING BOX. Always, put the product box in
a cardboard box fully packaged with the proper packing materials please, thank
you!
Return Authorization
Number: All products returned to us must be accompanied by a valid
Return Authorization number issued by ocean reeflections.com To obtain a
Return Authorization number please Email us at sales@oceanreeflections.com . PLEASE write the (Return Authorization Number) on the outside
of the packaging your returning.
20% restocking fee: Upon
receipt of unopened, unused and re-saleable product we will credit you for the
returned items (and sometimes
not always, depending on the situation) minus
a 20% restocking fee. FREIGHT
CHARGES ARE NEVER REFUNDABLE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE CANNOT RETURN A FRIGHT
CHARGE FOR SOMETHING YOU DECIDED YOU YOURSELF DID NOT WANT THAT'S ONLY
FAIR... if order was shipped free freight
then the actual cost of the freight will be charged against your credit card.
Customer Returns and exchanges must be returned to us freight pre-paid by
customer and also insured for the retail value of the product.
NOTE if you decide to
Return a defective or damaged product, and decide to not get a replacement
product or a product of equal value, you very well may be charged a 20% restocking fee.
Shipping Damage We
apologize greatly for any product that is damaged in shipment and will do
"everything possible" to rectify the situation. Please don't get angry with us
things happen! All our products we have shipped are the best materials and are
very up to code as far as packaging goes and we cannot be responsible if young
18yr old young kids working for shipping curriers are not being careful as
they should be and doing there jobs correctly, we cannot follow the package in
other words and monitor it every second... We feel just as bad as you do, and
most times I am sure we feel even much worse.... All customers can ask of us
really is to rectify the situation and get them another new product out as
soon as possible and "that's exactly what we intent to do!" We know you may be
very frustrated and we are very sorry, but again there is nothing more that we
can do there is always that chance customers must realize when buying online
shipped items, especially glass ones as many aquarium products are made from
that material...
To help us out with damaged products, please do the
following:
FOR SITUATIONS WHERE YOU ARE PRESENT WHEN UPS
DELIVERS PRODUCTS IN A DAMAGED BOX If you happen to be at the
delivery site when UPS delivers your products, please look for dents in the
packaging. If the dents seem severe, please refuse to accept the package on
the grounds that it is damaged.
Please contact at sales@oceanreeflections.com
right away, to inform us of the situation, and we'll ship
you a replacement as soon as possible. In your Email or phone call, please let
us know your order number and the damage to the packaging you observed.
FOR SITUATIONS WHERE YOU ARE NOT
PRESENT WHEN UPS DELIVERS PRODUCTS IN A DAMAGED BOX If you accept
a package from UPS personally, or it is left at the delivery site without a
signature release, and you discover that the package has been dented, open the
package and look for any damage to your product (cracks, dents, etc.). If the
product is damaged, please contact Ocean ReeFlections right away (sales@oceanreeflections.com), inform us of the situation, and we'll ship you a replacement
as soon as possible. In your Email or phone call, please let us know your
order number and the exact damage to the product. Please keep the packaging
the product came in for five days as the UPS driver may pick up the damaged
package and return it to Ocean ReeFlections.
FOR SITUATIONS WHEN THE BOX IS NOT DAMAGED,
BUT THE PRODUCTS ARE DAMAGED.
If you accept a package from UPS
personally, or it is left at the delivery site without a signature release,
and the packaging is not damaged, but you discover damage to your product
(cracks, dents, etc.), please contact Ocean ReeFlections WITHIN 72 HOURS
(sales@oceanreeflections.com ), inform us of the situation, and we'll ship you a replacement
as soon as possible. In your Email or phone call, please let us know your
order number and the exact damage to the product.
Very important, Customers:
If we did not receive the product back from you
within two weeks, we may have to charge you for the replacement. So, when
you ship the damaged product back to us, it is very important
that you insure the package (witch is not expensive usually) and retain
the tracking number. Both UPS and FedEx will provide insurance and tracking
numbers.
Your
Privacy Ocean ReeFlections is committed to protecting your
privacy. The information you enter on our site is held in confidence between
you and us and is used to process your order and to improve your shopping
experience. Ocean Reeflections does not sell, trade, or rent your personal
